Dear TBHS Community,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Dan, Julie, and I started the week by cooking a full pancake, bacon, sausage, and fruit breakfast for our staff. The PTO did a wonderful job honoring our educators with herbs, goodies, and a new Keurig. Thank you, PTO and thank you Bromfield educators. May is the season of events and celebration for our students. Last Friday’s Model UN Lip Sync was great fun (as always) and congratulations to the winning groups! Wednesday evening was the Spring Instrumental Concert. Students did an incredible job and I’m very impressed with our program’s development and the inclusion of the Bromfield Strings club, which has grown in participation and is just delightful. Bravo student musicians! Next week the Choral Concert is Wednesday (5/13) at 6:30pm and the Art Show Reception is from 5:30 to 7pm. BPA is currently in Nashville and we are sending all our best wishes for a successful time.
Next week also brings Prom! This year’s prom is at Wedgewood Country Club on Friday May 15th from 6pm-10pm. Celebration is from 10:30pm to 5am at HES. We look forward to a safe and fun evening for everyone!
AP exams continue next week! Good luck students, rest assured that you have been thoroughly prepared all year.
Best,
Kim

COMMUNITY NEWS AND EVENTS
|
Dear Families,
Thank you for your support of Cradles to Crayons.
The weather has been so stormy this year. In the winter, it's so cold and everyone needs to be safe. In this community, we are taking care of each other when we find clothes to donate. Cradles to Crayons helps a lot of families, and it is such a good program. It really helps with clothes in all four seasons.
John Lewis stated, “To every young person, if you come together with a mission, and it's grounded with love and a sense of community, you can make the impossible possible.”
Every little thing can make every hard thing easier. It can make the impossible possible.
Similarly, Malala Yousafzai writes, ”You will never know who stands with you, if you don't stand up first.” Sometimes we have to push ourselves. That push can make the impossible possible.
Thank you for your support of Cradles to Crayons.
Sincerely,
Project 351 Club and Bromfield Class of 2030

The online application for SUN Bucks (formerly Summer EBT) is now open. This federal food benefit program provides a $120 lump-sum summer benefit per school-aged child for income-eligible families. SUN Bucks income eligibility standards are the same as the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)—all enrolled students identified as meeting the income eligibility standards for free or reduced-price lunch during school year 2025-26, either through an NSLP household paper application or direct certification, are automatically eligible for SUN Bucks. Students identified as homeless, migrant, runaway, or participating in Head Start are also automatically eligible. The program is administered by the state Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) in partnership with DESE with assistance from schools. Find details and learn how to apply on the SUN Bucks website.
