Friday Memo :: December 19, 2025

Friday Memo | December 19, 2025

Dear TBHS Community,

This is the last Friday Memo of the year! We are winding down as we head towards break. This week we had the Choral Concert on Wednesday night. My favorite part was when the entire group of choral students grades 6 through 12 came together to sing Sleigh Ride at the end. It was a very joyous finale! Bravo to all our student performers. Thank you to our wonderful TBS Choral teacher Sarah Rutkiewicz and our amazing “jack of all musical trades” Nik Hunt. Please also see information from Fanfare below about how to support our musicians.

We also had two field trips and the GCC had a cultural event at Sentie’s Kitchen in Northborough, where they learned to make Afro-Carribean food with the owner and also had a delicious feast.

See below for a unique opportunity with Warner Free Lecture Series for students to present on a topic of their choosing and win $200! Applications due Jan 23rd!

Wishing everyone a break full of good cheer and peace in the new year.

Best,

Kim

COMMUNITY NEWS AND EVENTS

Dear Community Members,

Thank you so much to each grade level for your support of this year's Project 351 Club/Class of 2030 Loaves & Fishes food drive.

We exceeded our goal and raised more food than ever before: 2071.3 pounds.

That new record is over one ton of food.

Each ounce, each pound donated is crucial -- truly, each and every grade level wins. Why? We offset winter hunger in our immediate area, in a state where 1 in 8 children faces hunger.

Thank you.

Project 351 Club/Class of 2030

Fanfare is holding its annual Winter Concert Fundraising Drive.  We hope to support our music teachers with several requests this year.  Our current drive will raise funds to purchase student ensemble folders to organize their music.  Last year’s drive to fund school instrument repairs was a huge success.  Thank you, and please continue to support music in our schools!
