Dear TBHS Community,
This week we had PSATs for all 10th and 11th graders on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday we had our 3rd annual “Extended PSP and Senior Breakfast” in the library. In recognition of the very stressful time of the year for our seniors, we give them the opportunity to be together in community and tackle their Post-Secondary Planning to do lists (with support!). Over 60 seniors spent the morning consulting with educators about their college essays and applications, catching up on school work with an eye towards all important quarter 1 grades, and destressing with yoga. We had breakfast together and I have to say, this is my favorite new tradition at Bromfield. Thank you Ms Lamere, Ms Hall, Doc Horton, Ms Keane, and Ms Russell for your time and support.
Next week brings Spirit Week and the Homecoming Dance on Friday night. Each day has a dress up theme:
Monday–School Spirit Day
Tuesday–Teachers dress down/Students dress up
Wednesday–Character Day
Thursday–Matching Day
Friday–Color War (stay tuned for your color by grade)
Also, I'd like to extend a special shout out to our Bromfield girls who have qualified for the Head of the Charles!!! Bravo!!!

The varsity girls’ basketball team is hosting a fundraiser for this season, and we’d love your support!
To Our Girls Basketball Players and Supporters!
The Bromfield Girls Basketball program is excited to announce a fundraiser to help support our teams this season! We’re offering matching sweatshirts, t-shirts, and sweatpants in adult through youth sizes. Proceeds will go directly toward team supplies.

Save the date: Financial Aid 101 Presentation!
The Bromfield High School Counselors invite you to attend a Financial Aid 101 Webinar presented by MEFA ambassador, Donna Connolly, on Wednesday, November 5th at 9:00 am over Zoom.
MEFA, Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority®, is a fantastic resource, and we are grateful to have Donna lined up to speak with you all about the financial aid process. Donna will present “Financial Aid 101” in a live, virtual format. You will learn about financial aid applications and types of financial aid, the factors that determine your aid eligibility, how colleges determine the amount of aid to offer, and the details of financial aid offers.

HES Cafeteria
The Hildreth Elementary School and Bromfield School leadership invite parents and community members to join them for a community coffee in the Hildreth Cafeteria on Friday, October 24th at 10 am. This informal gathering is an opportunity to meet neighbors and hear about programs in the schools this fall, ask our school administrators questions, and share your feedback. Coffee and refreshments provided by the Harvard Schools PTO.
