Dear TBHS Community,
As I type this letter, students are putting their best smiles forward for picture day. The weather has cooperated for outside photos again this year. As you know, this is Dr Linda Dwight’s last year as superintendent and as she retires, she leaves big shoes to fill. Please consider helping us with the job of replacing her by filling out this brief survey to share your input about what you are looking for in the next Harvard Schools superintendent.
Thank you to our school counselors for their College Application Process information session they held on Wednesday evening for caregivers of current seniors. As a mom of a current senior (for the third and final time!), I can say for sure the anxiety runs high for both students and parents at this time. We are so lucky to have the expertise of our counselors to support our students through it.
Of course, these are only a snapshot of the range of academic, social, and emotional learning happening at TBS!

School Annoucements
In partnership with the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston (ATMOB), the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) is hosting the annual Star Party on Thursday October 2nd at 7:00 PM. This is a chance to look at the stars and galaxies close up through a scientific telescope. This event is weather dependent; if there is a cancellation due to weather, we will send out a notification on Tuesday September 30th.
Food and drinks will be provided.
For students in grades 6 & 7, and below, at least one parent or guardian must attend per household. Siblings are encouraged to attend as well!
Please RSVP by Monday 9/29 if you are planning to attend this year's event. This will help us to organize sufficient materials for everyone interested. Thanks!

Reminder: Town Meeting This Saturday!

Don't forget to attend town meeting this Saturday, September 27th and vote. Read a full warrant for the meeting on the town website. You can learn more about Article 4 - a vote for the purchase of land for recreational use, primarily youth sports - by watching this recent public forum.
